Mark
Wagner, Ph.D. - President
A respected scientist with a career that
has spanned high technology research for development of products
from initiation through post-commercialization, Mark has worked
in the fields of microelectronics, MEMS, thin film deposition,
optical components, biomedical devices, and electronic/optical
materials.
During
his career he has worked with individuals in both industrial
(Intel, 3M, Micron, Sony, Samsung, Molecular Imprints, Lam Research,
IBM, International Sematech, Albany NanoTech, IMEC) and academic
(University of Texas, Lawrence Berkeley Labs, Cornell, University
of Arizona, University of Wisconsin, UNC-Chapel Hill) settings
where leading edge work in solving problems through materials
science and chemistry is taking place.
As
an author of more than twenty patents and peer-reviewed papers,
Mark is a recognized industry authority. The patents relate
to materials science with applications including microelectronic
processes, thin film deposition, polymer formation, photoresist
chemistry, and supercritical fluids.
Mark
received his BA in Chemistry from University of Virginia and
Ph.D. in Organic and Organometallic Chemistry from Maurice Brookhart
at University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.

Bill
Balliette
Bill Balliette is a senior level marketing and business development
professional with over 15 years of experience working with both
large and small companies. Bill’s primary career focus
has been on technology commercialization, and he has recently
worked with start-up companies in areas including fiber optic
sensing, nanotechnology and semiconductor wafer handling.
Previous
to that, Bill spent eight years in various marketing and business
development roles at 3M, commercializing advanced materials
for the electronics manufacturing industry.
Early
in his career, Bill received hands-on experience as a manufacturing
engineer developing improved printed circuit board assembly
technology. He holds MS in Engineering and MBA degrees from
University of Texas – Austin, and has a BS in Mechanical
Engineering and BA in Liberal Arts from Dartmouth College.
